National Junior Honor Society is an organization

Membership is open to those students who meet the required standards in five
areas of evaluation: citizenship, character, leadership, scholarship, and service.
Students are selected for membership by a majority vote of a five-member
principal-appointed faculty council, which bestows this honor upon qualified
students on behalf of the faculty of our school each year.

National Junior Honor Society applications are open to any student currently in 7th or 8th grade.
2024-2025 CRITERIA
● Two consecutive quarters with B’s in all subjects (after the second quarter)
● 5 hours of community service form (any type of volunteering, tutoring, or service to others)
● 2 adult letters of recommendation forms
● Any extra documentation you’d like to include but not mandatory ie: awards, recognitions, etc
Citizenship: Verified through Aspen Conduct Referrals and Adult Recommendation Forms
Character: Verified through Adult Recommendation Forms and any listed Awards/Recognitions
Leadership: Verified through Adult Recommendation Forms and Community Service Forms
Scholarship: Grades verified through Guidance Office and any listed Awards/Recognitions
Service: Verified through the Community Service Forms
